Run Hard. Sleep Easy.
The DYNAFIT Transalpine Run will take place from September 6th - 12th, 2025 and traverse through small, boutique and popular ski villages along the way. I do the research ahead of time to ensure participants are getting the best quality reservations for the best price. The actual room fees vary based on single or double occupancy, proximity to the town centre, the town's status/resort popularity and number of stars. The cost averages between $70 - $120 euro per person, per night. I first started offering accommodation bookings in 2013, after I realized how much time and research goes into trying to locate the most ideal accommodations. Throughout the years I have gotten to know the stage towns & race logistics quite intimately.
REASONS TO BOOK
- You won't have to take on the time-consuming task of searching for suitable accommodations and making arrangements.
- You only have one booking process for all overnight stays.
- We submit all the hotel data to the race organizers who transport your luggage for you.
- You have a contact person (myself or my husband Trent) during the entire week.
- We book for a small intimate group which provides a sense of community, camaraderie and support throughout the week.

THINGS TO CONSIDER
- This service is for a "booking" fee only.
- You will pay for your own hotel fees upon arrival or checkout each stage. (sometimes we need to pay deposits up front)
- I cannot guarantee bed configurations. Most hotels will have a king size bed, with two mattress and separate covers side by side if you're sharing a room with someone.
- I only book hotels during the race.
- Each hotel includes breakfast.
- Where possible, I try to choose hotels with restaurants so you have the option to pay for "half board" (dinner included) or attend the free pasta party which is included with your race registration.
TRANSPORTATION
- We DO NOT provide transportation for runners.
- Having a support crew & vehicle can be helpful if that's an option.
- You are responsible for booking your own shuttles, where required. This includes shuttles to start, returning to your vehicle or airport after the final stage and in-between stages if required. Some villages are very small and accommodations can get spread out throughout the valley which requires all runners to shuttle.
- Please note: Should you need to drop from the race, it's the responsibility of each runner to find their own transportation which is why we strongly recommend you travel with family or friends who have a vehicle and aren't racing as support. We of course will help where we can :)
- We do not do luggage transportation. This is included in your race fees through the race organizers.

TAR 2025 Training Plans
|
I am a certified running coach/race director and founder of PACE Trail Runs, a Canadian based business specializing in Trail Running Clinics and a high quality Race Series. I am also proudly a member of team Salomon Canada and Hammer Nutrition Canada.
I have participated in the Transalpine Run 10 times with varying life changing experiences along the way. In 2016 me and my partner finished 3rd female team and won 2/7 stages among a strong female field. In 2019 I partnered with another friend and finished 2nd female team in the masters women category. In 2014 I took on the role of Canadian media liaison and started developing the online training programs. Every year since, I have written two complimentary programs for Transalpine-Run participants to choose from: One for first time participants and the other is for those wanting to improve past performances. If you are looking for more personalized options, I will also be opening up individual spots specifically for TAR athletes in 2024. I have a deep love for this event and I am happy to work with the team at PLAN B to bring you these training opportunities. |
Please be sure to download the training instructions before starting either of these programs.
