Can I defer my 2023 race entry or get a refund?

• We do not offer refunds.
• Up to 60 days before race day, we offer a 100% deferral of fees, towards another NOT YET SOLD OUT PACE Trail Runs event within the calendar year. This means you can defer to another race, but not the same race a year later.
• Between 30 to 60 days before race day, we can arrange a 50% deferral of race fees, towards another NOT YET SOLD OUT PACE Trail Runs event within the calendar year.
• There are no refunds and no deferrals within 30 days of race day. No exceptions. 
• Entries can only be deferred a single time, to a single event.

Why do you have a deferral policy like this in place? As of August 1st our budget needs to be 100% in place in order to host an event like Wandering Moose.

I didn't know what your cancellation policy was before registering. It wasn't communicated clearly.

• Our website and registration platforms asked racers to read and review our policy before signing up.
• Further, our website states that runners have a 24hr window, after registering for our events, to request a refund if they are not happy with the policy.

I was signed up in 2020. What are my deferral options and do I get priority registration for 2022?

• 2020 runners had the choice to defer 100% of their 2020 race entry fees into one of the following years: 2021, 2022 or 2023.
• If you bypassed registration for 2021, you can register in 2022 or 2023. Your registration is NOT automatically rolled over for you.
• You should see a credit on your ultra signup account for the amount of your rollover. If you do NOT see this, please email us.
• There is no priority registration for Wandering Moose in 2022 or 2023.

What's the expiry date for 2020 deferrals?

• October 1, 2023. After this date, there will be no refund or deferrals and your credit will expire.
