Start off the new year with no excuses & join our motivating and encouraging winter trail clinic. This 12 week clinic has a speed component on Wednesdays & long run on Sundays. Participants are split into groups for the long run based on their fitness levels, experience and pace and is assigned a PACE team member to lead each group on a fun endurance run.
Wednesday speed sessions are specific workouts and performed on a mix of road & trails, due to winter conditions. These session are 45min to 90min, depending on the training group chosen. (15k, 25k, 50k). Wednesday runs will consist of a variety of location, including various trails within Kelowna and area, Kelowna Cycle, Fresh Air Experience, Okanagan Spirits & Craft Distillery, Red Bird Brewery & Solstice Yoga Studio.
Sunday long runs are 90% on trails. These sessions take place on a variety of trail locations and include vertical challenges, enduros, group lead runs and self paced runs. Location schedule is set out on the first week of the clinic to registered participants only. Sunday runs start at 8am.
