How long have you been running with PACE? How long have you been a leader with PACE? 2013 started running, 2014 started announcing and assisting with the first PACE Spring Rush race.
What are some of your hobbies outside of running? Winter – cross country skiing – yes both of the kinds (skate and classic) plus snowboard if I have to be lazy and use a ski lift and line-up. Summer – Kiteboard (although allergic to the lake water – a real bummer).
Describe PACE or what it means to you in 1-2 sentences Friendships and laughter, and a group of people that care about each other more than just being on the trails together. An ever-expanding group of people that show up to learn to run and end up learning to enjoy life and appreciating the beauty around us a little more.
What has been your favourite trail or place to run in the whole wide world? Would have to be the PACE charity run from Kelowna to Naramata in 2015. Putting my legs to a good cause.
What is your go-to fuel on long runs? I am a cowboy when it comes to running, I drink water (probably too much of it) during, and usually the first to a beer to refuel after.
Funny running, racing or training moment: Racing ??? what is that?
Number one tip for beginners: Do not follow any tips about running from me, take advice from someone who knows what they are doing! Is there anything else you'd like the PACE Community to know about you? https://scottpdavis.com/race-announcing-emcee/
