Welcome! Welcome! What a great season PACE has lined up! Over 50 trail blazers have committed to 12 weeks of hard work, fun social events and glorious trail adventures with PACE this summer. PACE wants to thank everyone for trusting their fitness, running and health goals with their team.
Tonight's session is intended to be more social, as PACE welcome's back familiar faces and make those who are new feel comfortable. After the welcome and info session they will hit the local trails for a short + fun time trial workout. Tonight's workout consists of intervals on a 400m swoopy single track trail. After a short rest, athletes will head out again and again and again for the duration of their workout time. 15k, 25k & 50k workouts vary based on their training goals.
One of the great things about training with PACE is that their sessions allow everyone to work at their own pace and work towards their own potential. Professional running coach, Rene Unser, is on site to modify workouts for individual needs and generally support/motivate her athletes. "We want to create an environment that brings out the best in everyone and that provides an opportunity for each athlete to grow, get faster, fitter and enjoy the training process." says Rene.
This summer Rene is shaking things up and she intends to lay the boots down in a good way. "I need to trust my athletes can handle it unless I see otherwise. I don't want to limit their potential - I want to empower it. They are ready for what I have in store."
