Last night we launched the first relay race of the year at Tree Brewery Institute on Water Street. Over 34 racers from the Winter Clinic got into the spirit and participated
Although the run involved wearing random props and cruising down the busy trails at Knox and streets of downtown, the run itself was no joke!
It was a hard tempo workout on the road to the base of Knox with a vertical climb before they returned to tag their relay partner to go. Some runners had to run with a kite, raw egg, a batcow costume and more!
We finished the evening with the incredible hospitality, tasty craft beer and some of the best flatbreads I have ever had! Our group sat cozy in the Garden Hop where we ate, drank, watched a slideshow of all our hard work over the last 12 weeks and basically were merry.
Thank you to our sponsor Tree Brewery for hosting yet another fun event this clinic! Thank you to all the athletes of the Winter Clinic for trusting your running and health goals with me and the PACE team. We still have 2 weeks to go and more fun-filled adventures to come :)
