And that is how you turn lemonade out of lemons folks! Thx for everyone upbeat and positive attitude towards the slightly less convenient meeting place this AM. As it turned out, it sounds like all groups had a stellar run!
PACE is place to feel good. Even on the days you're tired, stressed or feeling down. It's the camrodere of the group. The knowing someone's always got your back and the celebration of every mile we accomplish.
Sharing stories. Makinging friendships. And I am talking the longasting kind. Speed is often secondary and instead we aim to run steady and keep it conversational. Unless it's a performance day and the "coach" turns is loose to run our faces into the ground.
We honor our leaders and the often difficult task they have of keeping the group together. Trying to meet the different fitness levels while keeping it safe and fun. We appreciate the little things they do for us that often go unnoticed and don't need to be said. We feel it. We know they would piggyback us to the moon of we needed them.
As we complete week three of the January clinic and settle into our training environment, I can see people progressing. Gaining confidence. Speed and strength already in a short period of time. A very well earned rest week is ahead and information on this topic and more will be included in the weekly newsletter. Keep up the great work everyone and thanks to the ever so dedicated PACE Team for sharing their awesome trail spirit!
