Funny running, racing or training moment: Cramping so badly in the last 5k of Deception Pass 50k that a passing driver asked if I needed a ride to the finish line.
Number one tip for beginners: Be adventurous but get informed: don't hesitate to ask for advice from experienced trail runners.
