PACE has successfully been leading quality and memorable Mountain Running Camps since 2013. Organized and coached by Rene Unser, the focus of our camps is showcase some of the best alpine & mountain terrain and provide participants with a tangible running experience while leaving them feeling like they're on vacation. Safety and personal connections are our top priority.
Our camps are suited for intermediate runners who have a solid running base and want to spend 3-4 long days in the backcountry running their faces off. Please note that our camps DO NOT have a technical coaching component and our goal is not to teach our guests how to run, but rather focus on exploring the many gorgeous mountain regions we include in our camps.
Each camp has a team of 6+ experienced trail leaders to help support your journey, make it more enjoyable and memorable. Our camps will sweep you away with gorgeous mountain views, sweet alpine single-track & tasty quality food.Pack your camera and bring your climbing legs and let's explore!
Camp participants must be physically prepared to run 13-17hrs over 3-4 days in the mountains.
We have given each camp an "animal name" to make it a fun way to identify each camp. We work with a local artist and designer, Nathan Karsgaard, to create a unique and stylish camp shirt for each participant.

We make it easy for our guests to focus on running & recovery by hosting 2 communal dinners throughout the camp. Participants are responsible for making their own breakfast, lunch and snacks. Your trail hosts will cook dinner on Saturday & Sunday evenings and often lunch will be on the trail, so plan accordingly. All of our camp accommodations include full kitchens and the camp towns have restaurants for those who don't want to cook. Please let us know if you have any food allergies or preferences and we will do our best to accommodate you & work with your preferences.
