How long have you been running with PACE? How long have you been a leader with PACE? This will be my second season running with PACE, fourth season doing PACE races and have been a leader since Fall 2019.
What are some of your hobbies outside of running? Long walks on the beach with the wind in my hair...that and any activity that gets me in the mountains or on the water.
Describe PACE or what it means to you in 1-2 sentences Sometimes you want to go where everyone knows your name. Is this Cheers? Nope...it’s PACE! It’s all about the community with this crew.
What has been your favourite trail or place to run in the whole wide world? Revelstoke for the summer 2019 camp! That and Rossland. I’m always open to exploring new areas.
What is your go-to fuel on long runs? Coco chums and gooey gum drops...wait I think that’s poppa bears favourite. On long runs I generally use natural foods (figs, almonds and such) but for races I use Perpetuem, gels and electrolytes.
Funny running, racing or training moment: That time I had to drop number two off in the woods? K that’s not true...I haven’t gotten to that point yet in my running career. Number one tip for beginners: Do not underestimate the importance of nutrition and hydration during and after running.
